Trump Just Pulled a GENIUS Move to Protect Historical Monuments From Violent Liberals

This week, President Trump has been in a constant battle with the media about his response to the Charlottesville protests. For some reason, Democrats cannot fathom a president who takes pride in his country’s history.. These snowflakes get more INSANE every day.

Many cities have already begun to take down any “controversial” monuments in their districts to avoid scenes similar to those in Virginia. However, this is NOT what the American people want! We cannot let the liberals win this race.

A poll done by NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found that 62% of Americans felt the statues should remain as historical symbols. And only 27% think they should be taken down, with 11% currently unsure. Clearly the MAJORITY of America wants to preserve their history! So why is the media up in arms about Trump agreeing with the majority? Because they are FAKE news.

On Thursday, Trump sent out a series of tweets showing his disappointment that historical monuments were being torn down.

“Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments.”

Later on Thursday, Trump did something even more powerful that will stop Dems in their tracks!

A spokesperson for the Interior Department said that they refuse to take down monuments to Confederate soldiers at national battlefields which are “an important part of our country’s history.”  According to the Washington Examiner, the Interior Department also announced that it will be sending millions of dollars worth of historic preservation grants to help states protect their historic monuments.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke backed Trump and said what Dems everywhere need to hear: “Don’t rewrite history. Understand it for what it is and teach our kids the importance of looking at our magnificent history as a country and why we are what we are.”
