DURING HER SPEECH, SHE TOLD WORLD LEADERS TO ‘STEP UP’ TO PROTECT CHILDREN.

“No child should ever feel hungry, stalked, frightened, terrorized, bullied, isolated or afraid, with nowhere to turn. We need to step up, come together, and ensure that our children’s future is bright,” Trump said during a luncheon at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York City.

According to the White House, the audience included world leaders and their spouses.

“Show me the loving bonds between your families today and I will show you the patriotism and moral clarity of your nation tomorrow,” Trump said. “If we do not advocate a love of country to our children and the generations to come, then why would our children grow up to fight for our country’s founding principles and moral truth?”

Trump said that children are often “hit first and hardest in any country” when it comes to drug addiction, bullying, poverty, disease, trafficking, illiteracy and hunger.

“We must come together for the good of our children, because through them our future will be defined,” Trump said, reiterating the importance of teaching children by example the values of empathy and communication.

“I hope you will join me in recommitting ourselves to teaching the next generation to live by and honor the Golden Rule,” Trump said.

“God bless our children, God bless our nations and God bless the United States of America,” she concluded.

What amazingly moving speech. I support Melania Trump and respect her as a mother and also as the First Lady of the United States. Please Share this to Facebook if you support her too!
